Fleet Management System

Fleet management software that knows every horse, trailer and vehicle

Gonyeti keeps a complete record of each unit in your fleet (specification, documents, fuel, tyres, driver, inspections and costs) so you can see what every truck costs to run and what it is earning.

What is fleet management software?

Fleet management software is the system of record for a company's vehicles. It holds what each vehicle is, who drives it, what it consumes, what documents keep it legal, when it is due for service and what it has cost.

Gonyeti treats prime movers (horses), trailers and other vehicles as separate assets, because that is how Southern African fleets operate: trailers swap between horses, carry their own tyres and need their own fitness certificates.

The problem

Why fleet costs are hard to see

Vehicle records scattered

Registration papers in one file, service history in the workshop, fuel in finance, and the driver's licence copy in HR.

Fuel without context

Fuel is paid for, but rarely compared with distance, load and the vehicle's expected consumption.

Expiring documents

A lapsed licence, permit or fitness certificate can park a truck at a roadblock or border.

Tyres unaccounted for

Tyre spend is high and tyre history almost non-existent.

Trailer swaps

Trailers move between horses, so their costs and condition are hard to attribute.

No cost per unit

Without connected records, nobody can say which trucks should be replaced.

How Gonyeti solves it

One record per unit, with everything attached

Each horse, trailer and vehicle in Gonyeti has its fleet number, registration, chassis and engine numbers, make and model, year, mass ratings and full technical specification. Documents, images and fitness certificates are stored against it.

Fuel fill-ups, tyre fitments, inspections, job cards, trips and incidents all point back to the unit. That is what makes per-vehicle reporting possible without building a spreadsheet each month.

  • Horses, trailers and vehicles as separate assets
  • Trailer links to horses, recorded over time
  • Expected fuel consumption loaded and empty
  • Vehicle groups for depots, contracts or divisions
  • Archive units without losing their history

Why it matters

What connected fleet records give you

Cost per unit

Fuel, tyres, repairs and trips attached to the same truck make running cost visible.

Fewer stopped trucks

Expiry reminders and service schedules reduce avoidable downtime.

Better replacement decisions

Age, condition and repair history are available when deciding which units to replace.

Less admin

Vehicle information is captured once and reused by operations, workshop and finance.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Does Gonyeti separate horses and trailers?
Yes. Horses, trailers and other vehicles are separate asset types with their own documents, tyres and history. Trailers are linked to horses as they are coupled.
Can it track light vehicles and equipment too?
Yes. Light vehicles and other vehicle types are managed alongside heavy units, and assets such as equipment can be registered in the asset module.
Is GPS tracking included?
Gonyeti integrates with tracking providers rather than supplying tracking hardware. See vehicle tracking integration.
How large a fleet can Gonyeti handle?
Gonyeti is designed for fleets from a handful of trucks to several hundred units. Vehicle groups and branches help organise large fleets across depots.
Can we import our existing fleet list?
Fleet data can be imported during implementation. We will discuss your current data during the demo.
